Big Birds Bathing....

..make a lot of noise. I was sitting at the computer with the door open, and heard some very loud splashes from the pond. I turned to see what was happening (we've had squirrels fall in, usually while being chased), and one of the adult sandhill cranes was taking a bath in the pond. Just like the sparrows/blackbirds do in the birdbath or the shallows of the pond. There was a lot of splashing.

In other news, I'm stiff and creaky from the 6am MRI I had yesterday. That should clear within the next couple of days, but I sometimes think that that's the worst part....
