There actually was a reasonable choice of meat, but I was being picky (because I already had plans to go to the other grocer). As the meat counter is closed, the selection is limited to pre-packs in the coolers, and they didn't have the size I wanted.

In dogs-vs-iris, the dogs always win. If the stem is long enough, at least you can put them flowers in a vase....
