It's mostly a way of keeping track of how much time I actually spend *making* things.
Many of the things I do are either long term (garden, raise kids, knit) or ephemerals -- one offs (performances) or things that will be replaced when a new one comes along (newsletters), and sometimes I feel as though I don't actually *do* anything.
